About us

We are a group of qualified experts from all over the world

We founded Surur Tourism Limited Company in 2015 in Trabzon with my wife, Fatma Gülak Şahin. Our company was established primarily to provide services in accommodation, tours, car rentals, real estate, and investment consultancy for tourists coming from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and other Arab countries. In the same year, we contributed to bringing many tourists to our region with our first accommodation facility, the 45-bed capacity My Home Maçka by SURUR, which has been successfully providing accommodation services to this day. Thus, in 2015, we began to make our name known in the Middle Eastern countries through the quality of our services, particularly in the fields of accommodation and tourist tours, serving hundreds of tourists in a short time.

While our tourism activities in Trabzon continued rapidly, we took a significant step in February 2016 by opening our Sultans Residence by SURUR facility, with a total capacity of 176 beds, right next to Forum Istanbul in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul. For two years, our facility, which operated year-round, hosted tourists not only from Arab countries but from all around the world, particularly Europe and Asia, and contributed to the branding of the “SURUR” name.

In May 2016, we established Verizana Tourism Limited Company. The Verizana Suites Hotel, within the company, continues to provide services with a 160-bed capacity, aiming to become a brand in the Middle East with a team that has a stable stance.

In May 2017, we continued to strengthen our position. By saying “we are also in the Hajj and Umrah sector,” we established Meezab Travel Tourism Limited Company in collaboration with businessman Ramazan İşler, who has significant experience in the field, and leading Pakistani businessmen, to operate in the fields of Hajj, Umrah, visa services, accommodation services, and airline ticket sales in the Turkish market. Meezab Travel, a Class A travel agency, has also received the IATA (International Air Transport Association) certificate and continues its activities internationally.

At the end of 2017, we partnered with Kuwaiti businessman Ali Muhammed Al-Dowailah in the North Star Hotel project located on the Sumela road in the Maçka district of Trabzon. We believe that our North Star Boutique Suite Hotel, supported by TKDK and scheduled to start operations in March 2019, will bring great prestige to our region.

Lastly, in February 2018, to expand our range in the tourism sector, we established North Pearl Tourism Limited Company with Yemeni businessman Yahya Abdullah Al-Shabi in Saudi Arabia. The North Pearl Residence Suite Hotel, within the company, continues to provide accommodation services with a 250-bed capacity in Trabzon, with experienced, friendly, and multilingual professional staff, primarily serving tourists from Arab countries.

Our journey, which began as Surur Tourism Limited Company, has resulted in the establishment of new companies and the rebranding of our company as Surur Group International after nearly four years of intensive activities. We can proudly say that in the coming years and in the long term, we will continue to represent our country in the best possible way through our activities both domestically and internationally. The fact that we have facilitated significant investments from abroad in Turkey is a sign of the major projects and investments we will undertake in the future.
